India reports 15,823 new Covid cases, 226 deaths in the last 24 hours, a slight increase from Tuesday says the Union health ministry.
India on Wednesday recorded 15,283 COVID cases — a slight increase from Tuesday — and 226 deaths, according to the Union health ministry. However, active cases have further declined to 2,07,653.
India’s combined COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeds 95.89 crores and reports 14,313 new cases in the last 24 hours which is the lowest in 224 days.
58.6 crore samples have been tested for COVID up to October 12, 2021. Of these, 13.2 lakh samples were tested yesterday says the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
