Normal train operation will start in a phased manner only after the implementation of the ‘Zero-based Timetable’ on the instructions of the Railway Board
Farrukhabad: Railway Manager of North Eastern Railway, Ijjat Nagar Division, Ashutosh Pant said on Friday that normal trains will run slowly only after the implementation of ‘Zero-based Timetable’ on the instructions of the Railway Board.
Mr. Pant said that he inspected various stations and track lines of Kasganj-Farrukhabad rail route of the division. At the Farrukhabad Junction station, Mr. Pant, while talking to media representatives, said that out of the trains that the Railway Board has decided to run, all the trains are running separately and would increase gradually. Private sector trains are running separately.
The Division Rail Manager said that as usual, train passengers are facing a lot of difficulties due to the closure of local trains but not all trains can run abruptly due to Covid outbreak.
On the instructions of the Railway Board, it will be possible to start trains in a phased manner only after the process of ‘Zero-based Timetable’ is completed. Everyone is waiting for this timetable.
