Rahul Khan, a Muslim resident of Rasoolpur Village in Haryana’s Palwal was hacked to death by his friends Kalua, Akash, and others.<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Circumstances Leading to Event:<\/h3>\n
The tragic incident occurred when on Monday, 13 December 2021, Kalua, Akash, and others came to 22-year-old Rahul Khan\u2019s<\/a> home at Rasoolpur Village in Haryana\u2019s Palwal, and they demanded a treat from Khan, which he was reluctant to give; however as they insisted, Rahul left his home with his “friends” however, tragically, Rahul Khan never returned home.<\/div>\n

\u201cLittle did he know that this would cost him his life,\u201d says Akram, brother-in-law of Rahul Khan.<\/div>\n

On 14 December, Rahul Khan\u2019s<\/a> relative received a call from Kalua stating Khan met an accident.\u00a0 The relative said, \u201cI went to Kalua\u2019s house after the phone call. To my surprise, I was abused. They said: \u2018Mulla, tu bhi agya , tujhe bhi mardene.\u2019 This made me scared and I ran off\u201d .<\/p>\n

The family members of Rahul found him badly wounded and bleeding and took him to the hospital where he breathed his last almost 6 hours after admission.<\/p>\n

Believing Kalua, Khan\u2019s family lodged an FIR at the nearest police station Chandhat writing in their statement that Rahl was killed in an accident.<\/p>\n

Viral Video<\/h3>\n

On the morning of 15 December, they came across a viral video, in which Khan was seen blood-soaked and being beaten mercilessly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the video, the attackers can be heard saying \u2018Hum Hindu Hain Hindu, Tu Mulla Hai Mulla\u2018,\u201d Akram said to Maktoob, family members.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis body was in a bad situation, it seems he was beaten with axe and rods,\u201d Akram said to Maktoob.<\/p>\n

Apparently, a social media user Sunil Chahal Chahal uploaded Rahul Khan’s photo on Facebook with a song in the background in which his blue-black wounds were clearly visible.\u00a0 \u201cLater, he deleted the story,\u201d Akram claims.<\/p>\n

After this, an FIR was lodged under IPC 209 and 304A at the Chandhat police station.<\/p>\n

When Maktoob reached out to the police, the in-charge said that the case is being investigated and one arrest has been made so far.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe video is also being investigated,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The post mortem report highlights the multiple traumatic injuries over the body. It also describes multiple injuries on the head, legs, and eyes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
