Pratapgarh:<\/strong> In the name of freedom of expression, great personalities of any religion cannot be insulted. It is a malleable act. India has always had a balanced policy in this regard. In the past, India has never shied away from telling the world the truth.<\/p>\n Surprisingly, the Indian government has expressed sorrow and sympathy for the “insult” of the French President but has turned a blind eye to the blasphemous and ‘terrorist’ act of the French President. State Vice President of Maharashtra Samajwadi Party Asif Nizamuddin Siddiqui expressed these views in a press release.<\/p>\n Asif Nizamuddin Siddiqui strongly condemned the disgrace of Prophet Muhammad in France and said that India’s foreign policy has always been based on fairness and justice. Such unilateral action is against our policy and tradition.<\/p>\n The manner of support adopted by the Government of India has exposed Islamophobia and hatred which has angered not only millions of Muslims in India but also Muslims and secularists all over the world.<\/p>\n India’s ‘secularism’ does not allow any religion or religious person to be insulted, but equal respect for all religions and their great personalities is an integral part of our secular Indian culture.<\/p>\n It is a constitutional fact that our secularism is very different from the secularism of France which is contrary to religion. Islam opposes all forms of terrorism, whether it is by the state or by an individual or organization. But today, France itself is promoting extremism and terrorism.<\/p>\n Therefore, it is important to maintain a balance between our support and opposition. He demanded the Government of India not to support the organization or government (of France) which insulted the great personalities.<\/p>\n
