Advani is Upset with Kangana, This Still Has to be Verified, but A Video Was Released Declaring This:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Prime Minister Narender Modi is always predictably silent in moments like this, and more so would be since Kangana was lavishing praises over the Prime Minister by establishing 2014, the year he got elected, was true freedom for India, if L.K. Advani really said this, it is a refreshing change.\u00a0 L.K. Advani of BJP, 94 years old purportedly said that it made him angry when people say that they got real freedom only in 2014 and that the 1947 &#8220;azaadi&#8221; was &#8220;bheekh&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Lal Krishna Advani is an Indian politician who served as the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004 under Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Advani is one of the co-founders and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a longtime member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, (RSS).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  id=\"_ytid_68515\"  width=\"696\" height=\"391\"  data-origwidth=\"696\" data-origheight=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BMFetSUGR5A?enablejsapi=1&#038;autoplay=0&#038;cc_load_policy=0&#038;cc_lang_pref=&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;loop=0&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;playsinline=0&#038;autohide=2&#038;theme=dark&#038;color=red&#038;controls=1&#038;disablekb=0&#038;\" class=\"__youtube_prefs__  epyt-is-override  no-lazyload\" title=\"YouTube player\"  allow=\"fullscreen; accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Kangana&#8217;s comment is being severely criticized from several quarters:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Maharashtra BJP Chief Chandrakant Patil on Friday said actor Kangana Ranaut\u2019s comment that the Independence India won in 1947 was \u201cbheek\u201d (alms) was completely wrong.\u00a0 Ranaut can appreciate PM Modi\u2019s work over the last seven years but she has no right to criticize the Independence struggle, Patil told reporters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Churu Police near Hanumangarh (Rajasthan) has registered a case against Kangana Ranaut on a complaint by Congress over her remark that \u201cIndia got freedom in bheek\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/india\/story\/madness-treason-bjp-varun-gandhi-kangana-ranaut-insulting-india-freedom-fighters-bheek-remark-1875851-2021-11-12\">Varun Gandhi<\/a> of BJP also slammed Kangana for her comment calling it madness or treason.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gaurav Pandhi, the Congress\u2019 digital communications, and social media coordinator said the RSS could never accept the fact that their British masters were forced to leave in 1947.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026Their slavery knew no bounds. No wonder they didn\u2019t hoist the tricolor for half a century. The return of slavery in 2014 was their \u2018independence\u2019. Kangana Ranaut is just one of them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to Ranaut\u2019s remarks, Congress spokesperson Gourav Vallabh said her statement has shown what happens when people who are not deserving of Padma awards are given these honors.<\/p>\n<p>Gourav Vallabh said, \u201cI demand that Kangana Ranaut should make a public apology to all Indians because of her statement, our freedom movement and our freedom fighters\u2019 sacrifice were insulted,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe government of India should take back the prestigious Padma award from such a lady who is insulting Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. If the government is giving her Padma award, it means the government is promoting these kinds of people,\u201d Vallabh said.<\/p>\n<p>What Kangana Ranaut has said is \u201cdirect treason\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n<p>Salman Soz pointed out in his Twitter post that some people clapped when Ranaut said India\u2019s real independence was in 2014 because 1947 was a charity case. He also recalled the millions who \u201cresisted the British, those who were killed or jailed, those who loved India\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>National executive chairman of the Aam Aadmi Party Preethi Menon has filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police seeking an FIR against Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut.<\/p>\n<p>Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi compared Ranaut\u2019s remarks to another BJP member who recently claimed that India has been given freedom as a lease for 99 years.<\/p>\n<p>Priyanka Chaturvedi said, \u201cNew Ruchi Pathak on the block. From 99 years lease to bheek main mili azaadi. All the blood, sweat and balidan (sacrifice) of our freedom fighters including Jhansi ki Rani dismissed to please the master. The WhatsApp history fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Historian S Irfan Habib, wrote on Twitter,\u00a0\u201cShamelessness is abysmal\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Actor Swara Bhasker, who also shared the video clip on her Twitter page, wondered about those who were heard clapping at Ranaut\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho are the idiots who are clapping is what I want to know,\u201d wrote Bhasker, who has worked with Ranaut in the \u201cTanu Weds Manu\u201d film series and has been a critic of the actor.<\/p>\n<p>Other celebrities too, were infuriated and filmmaker Onir said,\u00a0\u201cWill we now start celebrating a new Independence Day?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Without naming the actor badminton player Jwala Gutta wrote, \u201cWhat do you call a person who only spews venom when she\/he opens their mouth!!! Just curious!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lawyer Aman Wadud said,\u00a0\u201cGround being prepared to attack the Constitution. Well-thought-out statement, don\u2019t make the mistake to read this in isolation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stand-up comic Kunal Kamra, an outspoken critic of the government wrote on Twitter, \u201cKangana is right India did get independence from common sense &amp; rational thinking in 2014.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Is Kangana Expressing Her Freedom of Speech?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strangely ambiguous liberty democratic teams are rising up in righteous support for Kangana maintaining that she is exercising her freedom of speech.\u00a0 Somehow, those words sound very hollow at the present time because when freedom of speech reaches levels of lethality, perhaps one should know where to draw the line.\u00a0 She was not speaking in her drawing-room or to a batch of friends, but at a conclave, highlighted by Media with the Prime Minister, Home Minister and the President of India present.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Unfortunately, when a girl activist speaking up for farmers on Twitter gets booked under UAPA by the Government of India who gets her arrested, and many such are still in prison, not granted &#8220;freedom of speech&#8221;, but an actress with the potency to influence millions using her platform to maliciously spit out that the freedom of India in 1947 was nothing more than alms, and when certain BJP supporters cheer her on, as was heard in the conclave, then something is very wrong.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There is a difference between expressing your right to speech and desecrating the blood of martyrs by downplaying their sacrifice that enables citizens to sleep safely at night and empowers India to be a free nation under no other country&#8217;s yolk.\u00a0 It is an understatement to say, Kangana was expressing her &#8220;freedom of speech.&#8221; There are some lines of freedom of speech that even a child knows without being told should never be said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your rights should not allow you to transgress the spirit of the Consitution, the nation and the blood of soldiers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strangely, Kangana&#8217;s statement comes after she received the Padma Shri Award which was established in 1954 by the Congress Government, the very government she is making incendiary statements about.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obviously, citizens would be outraged because she received the fourth-highest civilian award given to distinguished individuals who contributed outstandingly to the nation.\u00a0 A woman who is not a peacemaker but a divider, whether deliberately planted to polarize or just losing something of a mind, one could never know.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, her getting the fourth-highest civilian award while desecrating the blood of martyrs by saying 1947 freedom was alms and not real freedom qualifies her unworthy of the award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If Kangana keeps making harmful provoking statements and spreading poison, while she may ultimately drown in her shallow depths, she would have brought the millions under her fold into the deceptive grey light of a new radicalism that would be lethal and destructive.\u00a0 While we say, ignore her, because she is just a distraction, it is no small thing to ignore, one can rightfully call it treason.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-background-color\">\n\t\t\t  <div \n\t\t\t  \tclass = \"fb-comments\" \n\t\t\t  \tdata-href = \"https:\/\/www.hamslive.com\/news\/2021\/11\/kanganas-bheekh-comment-freedom-of-speech-or-treason\/\"\n\t\t\t  \tdata-numposts = \"10\"\n\t\t\t  \tdata-lazy = \"true\"\n\t\t\t\tdata-colorscheme = \"light\"\n\t\t\t\tdata-order-by = \"social\"\n\t\t\t\tdata-mobile=true>\n\t\t\t  <\/div><\/div>\n\t\t  <style>\n\t\t    .fb-background-color {\n\t\t\t\tbackground: #ffffff !important;\n\t\t\t}\n\t\t\t.fb_iframe_widget_fluid_desktop iframe {\n\t\t\t    width: 100% !important;\n\t\t\t}\n\t\t  <\/style>\n\t\t  ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kangana Ranaut&#8217;s bheekh&#8221; statement stirred up fury after she said at a conclave that India gained real freedom in 2014.
