Again, petrol and diesel prices hit a new all-time high soaring as oil marketing companies increased prices of petrol and diesel on Saturday.<\/h2>\n

Prices of petrol and diesel<\/a> have now been rising for the fourth consecutive day after a pause of two days. In the national capital Delhi, the petrol and diesel prices were increased by 35 paise each. Post-hike, petrol in Delhi is available at Rs 108.99 per litre while diesel at Rs 97.92 per litre.<\/p>\n

In Kolkata, petrol prices<\/a> were increased by 34 paise and a litre of petrol was sold at Rs 109.46 while diesel prices were increased by 35 paise and a litre of diesel was being retailed at Rs 100.84.<\/p>\n

In Mumbai, a litre of petrol now costs Rs 114.81 while diesel Rs 105.86 per litre. In Chennai, a litre of petrol was available at Rs 105.74 and diesel at Rs 101.92.<\/p>\n

Prices differ from state to state depending on the rate of local taxes.<\/p>\n

At this rate, it would be best to ditch petrol and diesel, go for nuclear energy and use electric cars and bikes!<\/p>\n
