The number of total deaths to COVID-19 cases climbed to 4,52,124 with 144 more fatalities, according to the Union Health Ministry’s<\/a> data on Sunday. The recovery rate touched 98.10 percent, said the Ministry, as 19,788 patients recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,34,19,749.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Active Caseload falls below 2 lakh mark and is presently at 1,95,846, which is lowest in 220 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.57 percent of the country’s total positive cases. \u201cThe daily positivity rate is 1.29 percent, which is less than 3 percent for last 48 days, whereas weekly positivity rate is 1.42 percent which also remains less than 3 percent for the last 114 days now,\u201d the Ministry reported.<\/p>\n Over the last 24 hours, India administered 41,20,772 vaccine doses as the coverage exceeded 97.65 Crore landmark as per provisional reports till 0700 hours Sunday,\u201d the Ministry said. The data suggested that more than 101.7 crore doses<\/a> have been provided to States\/UTs so far through the direct state procurement category. \u201cMore than 10.42 Crore, balance, and unutilized Covid vaccine doses are still available with the States\/UTs to be administered,\u201d the data said.<\/p>\n
