She reached Lucknow on Monday afternoon and is busy sketching out strategies in Kaul House for the 2022 assembly polls.<\/p>\n
On her arrival at the UP Congress headquarters, she told party workers to remain undeterred by the leaving of popular faces and started fine-tuning the selection of candidates for the 2022 Vidhan Sabha UP elections.<\/p>\n
Party sources say that besides her words, her actions have energized the cadres and given them fresh vision and direction which was greatly needed after Lalitesh Pati Tripathi and Jitin Prasada cut their generational ties with Congress leaving many spirits in the doldrums.<\/p>\n
Thus Priyanka’s presence brightened up the air.\u00a0 A senior functionary said, \u201cThis is her second visit within a month and is expected to last for five days. Her mere presence has energised the workers who feel that the party is in no mood to give up to the visibly mighty enemy,\u201d<\/p>\n
The party will most likely roll out its poll campaign on the first day of Navratri. Besides holding yatras to spread the anti-BJP message, the party is investing in setting up 100 war rooms to counter the RSS-BJP propaganda despite the paucity of funds. The room will also be used to save people from getting lured by the regional parties which have alienated from their primary ideologies for the sake of survival,\u201d a senior leader said.<\/p>\n
State present Ajay Kumar Lallu and legislature party leader Aradhana Mishra remained with Priyanka till late night on Monday to prepare the programs of the party for the coming day<\/p>\n
Priyanka Gandhi will also assess the selection of candidates and meet the manifesto committee members besides her routine meetings. Sources said that Priyanka may go on to Varanasi from here to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s birth anniversary.<\/p>\n
