{"id":7702,"date":"2021-09-26T14:06:47","date_gmt":"2021-09-26T14:06:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hamslivenews.com\/?p=7702"},"modified":"2021-09-26T14:06:47","modified_gmt":"2021-09-26T14:06:47","slug":"sneha-dubey-the-youth-diplomat-who-slammed-pakistan-at-unga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hamslive.com\/news\/2021\/09\/sneha-dubey-the-youth-diplomat-who-slammed-pakistan-at-unga\/","title":{"rendered":"Sneha Dubey the youth diplomat who slammed Pakistan at UNGA"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Everyone wants to know who is Sneha Dubey is, the Indian IFS officer who gave a befitting reply to Pakistan at UNGA.<\/h2>\n<p>Sneha Dubey is a 2012 batch IFS officer who completed her education after achieving her MPhil from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), India&#8217;s First Secretary at UNGA, who slammed Pakistan from the world forum on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>This came after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan raked up the Kashmir issue in his address to the UN General Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>She called Pakistan an \u201carsonist\u201d disguising itself as a \u201cfire-fighter\u201d and the entire world has suffered because of its policies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe exercise our Right of Reply to one more attempt by the leader of Pakistan to tarnish the image of this august forum by bringing in matters internal to my country, and going so far as to spew falsehoods on the world stage,\u201d First Secretary Sneha Dubey said in the UN General Assembly on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile such statements deserve our collective contempt and sympathy for the mindset of the person who utters falsehood repeatedly, I am taking the floor to set the record straight,\u201d the young Indian diplomat said, hitting out at Imran Khan at the 76th session of the UNGA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is Sneha Dubey?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She did her schooling in Goa, studied at Pune Fergusson College for higher studies before completing MPhil in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>Sneha Dubey is an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 2012 batch.
