Late Friday night while Palestinian worshippers in the holy month of Ramadan assembled at the Al-Aqsa mosque compound, a major holy site sacred to Muslims and Jews,\u00a0 Israeli police entered and attacked the worshippers.<\/h2>\n

This was an escalation of weeks of violence in Jerusalem that has echoed across the area.\u00a0\u00a0The Palestinian Red Crescent emergency service said 136 people were injured in clashes with the Israeli police there and elsewhere in Jerusalem, including 83 who were hospitalized. It states most were gashed in the face and eyes by rubber-coated bullets and shrapnel from stun grenades. Israel said six police officers were wounded.<\/p>\n

There was widespread rage over attacks on peaceful worshippers during Ramadan.\u00a0 The world’s silence on the atrocities inflicted by Israel’s government is deafening.\u00a0 What is wrong should be stopped, and human atrocities should be curbed by the United Nations and others bodies, but humanity has learned long ago diplomacy and political games dominate the UN allowing bullying nations to continue their horrors without checks. It is stunning how the world is silent through all this.<\/p>\n

Bodies like the United Nations have lost their significance. They should be dissolved and something new which regulates human atrocities should be started and Israel should be called out by the world for continuing their hateful acts.<\/p>\n
