Shell joins other industry-leading Platinum Members such as DXC Technology, Fujitsu, Huawei, IBM, Intel, and OpenText.<\/p>\n
Having been a Member of The Open Group since 1997, Shell has actively contributed to various Forums aimed at developing open technology standards and certifications. The company played a crucial role in establishing The Open Group OSDU\u00ae Forum, which focuses on developing transformational technology for evolving energy needs. Shell also contributed to the formation of The Open Group Open Footprint\u2122 Forum, dedicated to creating an environmental footprint data model standard applicable across industries.<\/p>\n
The Open Group is a global consortium fostering the achievement of business objectives through technology standards. With a diverse membership of over 900 organizations, it includes customers, systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators, academics, and consultants across various industries.<\/p>\n
