The BJP refrained from offering a formal response to the Supreme Court’s electoral bond ruling, citing the need for a thorough examination of the lengthy judgment before providing a detailed reply.<\/p>\n

While defending the electoral bonds as crucial for transparency in electoral funding, the party criticized the Congress for politicizing the court’s decision. Internally, there was discontent over the ruling’s timing just before the Lok Sabha elections.<\/p>\n

Former law minister and BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad emphasized the need for careful analysis of the judgment and praised the bonds for their transparency objectives. Privately, some party members expressed frustration and hoped for a swift response from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration.<\/p>\n
