Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Mao Ning, expressed confidence in China’s economy, stating that it remains resilient, vibrant, and full of potential. She highlighted that the fundamentals for long-term development remain unchanged. Despite some concerns raised by countries like the United States and Australia, China’s leadership remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting sustained and healthy economic growth.<\/p>\n

The Chinese government also underscored its dedication to high-level openness and mutually beneficial cooperation with other nations to share the benefits of development, not only for China but also for its Asian neighbors and the world at large.<\/p>\n

Western leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden and Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers, have publicly voiced worries about China’s economic situation. While China’s economic recovery initially showed promise after overcoming stringent COVID-19 restrictions, recent challenges like weak consumer spending and a property market downturn have led to concerns.<\/p>\n
