Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits today through video conferencing at the Men\u2019s Club, Group Centre, CRPF Hyderabad. Prime Minister also addressed the appointees on the occasion. <\/p>\n

MoS, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajeev Chandrasekhar was also present at the event in Hyderabad.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister launched the 8th edition of Rozgar Mela which will be held across 45 locations in the country. PM Modi claimed that India will become one of world’s top three economies in this decade.\u00a0<\/p>\n

These recruits, hailing from various parts of the country, will be assuming roles such as constable (general duty), sub-inspector (general duty), and non-general duty cadre posts in different organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).<\/p>\n

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.<\/p>\n

In July, at the Rozgar Mela in Chennai, MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar reiterated PM Modi\u2019s message of introducing a new culture \u201cSeva\u201d or public service in government jobs. He talked about a tectonic shift in how people perceive governance and government jobs.<\/p>\n

In a recent address at the Rozgar Mela in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister lauded the newly appointed 5,800 primary school teachers and highlighted how their role in implementing the National Education Policy will be crucial. He emphasized the equal significance given to traditional knowledge and emerging technologies, noting the development of a new curriculum in primary education.<\/p>\n

The Rozgar Mela was conducted across 45 locations nationwide. The ongoing recruitment drive covers Central Government Departments, State Governments and Union Territories, aligning with the commitment to prioritize employment generation. Last year in October, PM Modi initiated the \u2018Rozgar Mela\u2019 campaign, marking the commencement of the drive to provide 10 lakh government jobs.<\/p>\n

A Rozgar Mela is an event where a number of employers and job seekers come together for the purpose of applying and interviewing for jobs. Defined more precisely, a Rozgar Mela is an employment strategy to fast-track the meeting of job seekers and employers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
