Congress president Mallikaarjun strongly criticized the Narendra Modi-led government, intensifying his attack by denouncing the arrest of Tamil Nadu Minister V Senthil Balaji by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).<\/p>\n
According to Mallikarjun Kharge, the late-night arrest of V Senthil Balaji is a clear example of political harassment and vengeance by the ruling dispensation.<\/p>\n
Expressing the Congress party’s stance, Mallikarjun Kharge stated, “We strongly condemn the arrest of Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister V Senthil Balaji by the ED. <\/span><\/p>\n This is an act of political harassment and vendetta orchestrated by the Modi government against those who oppose it.”<\/span><\/p>\n Kharge has consistently accused the ruling BJP of misusing the Central probe agencies to target political adversaries. He further affirmed, “Such audacious maneuvers will not intimidate the Opposition.<\/span><\/p>\n Instead, they strengthen our determination and commitment to continue our democratic struggle against the Modi government’s ‘anti-people’ policies.”<\/span> In connection with an alleged money laundering case, the ED apprehended Balaji following raids conducted at his premises.<\/span>
