The complaint alleges that despite Oxfam India&#8217;s FCRA registration having ceased, the organization planned to find other ways to channel funds and circumvent the law.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint also cites an email discovered during an IT survey by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) which suggests that Oxfam India is providing funds to the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) through its associates or employees in the form of commission.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint claims that this payment is not in line with Oxfam India&#8217;s stated objectives of carrying out social activities and is a violation of sections 8 and 12(4) of the FCRA 2010. The complaint further alleges that TDS data from Oxfam India shows a payment of Rs 12.71 lakh to CPR in the FY 2019-20.<\/p>\n<h3>Who is Oxfam India?<\/h3>\n<p>Oxfam India is considered to be one of the best non profit organization working to support child education, empowering women &amp; fighting against inequality in India.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Oxfam India is an Indian non-profit organization that works to reduce poverty and inequality by advocating for policies and practices that promote social and economic justice.<\/p>\n<p>The organization is part of the larger Oxfam International Confederation, which works in over 90 countries to address poverty and related issues.
