He will of course comply with the fixed penalty.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The UK police are said to not have given Sunak the due respect by calling him a 42-year-old man and Ashok Swain tweeted, \u201cAfter looking into this matter, we have today (Friday, January 20th) issued a 42-year-old man from London with a conditional offer of fixed penalty.\u201d &#8211; UK police called Rishi Sunak a 42-old-man &amp; fined him for failing to wear a seatbelt. A spokesman said Sunak made an &#8220;error of judgment&#8221; while filming a message for Instagram from the back of an official government car during a visit to northwest England.<\/p>\n<p>Spokesman Jamie Davies said the prime minister &#8220;fully accepts this was a mistake and apologizes.&#8221; &#8220;The prime minister believes everyone should wear a seat belt,&#8221; he said. Failing to wear a seat belt is punishable in the UK by a fine of up to 500 pounds ($620).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hamslive.com\/news\/2022\/10\/24\/rishi-sunak-will-become-britains-next-prime-minister-after-he-won-the-race\/\">Sunak&#8217;s<\/a> office said in a statement that &#8220;the prime minister fully accepts this was a mistake and has apologized.
