Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, the alleged mastermind behind the brutal murder of the celebrated Punjabi rapper singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala<\/a>, is being monitored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in California, according to top intelligence sources.<\/p>\n Unconfirmed reports on Friday also asserted that Brar had been detained in California. However, authorities in California are yet to make any official statement.<\/p>\n The National Investigation Agency (NIA) would formally request for Brar\u2019s deportation, the above-mentioned sources said, adding that filing of a case against him will take time.<\/p>\n Satinderjeet Singh, alias Brar, a native of Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab, had gone to Canada on a student visa in 2017 and he is an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Brar is also a key conspirator in a Dera Sacha Sauda follower\u2019s murder last month.<\/p>\n The development came a day after Moose Wala\u2019s father demanded that the Union government announced a reward of Rs 2 crore for any information that leads to the arrest of Brar.
