Supreme Court on Thursday in a bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud<\/a> said that the status quo should be maintained on 27 percent reservation to OBC in local bodies in Maharashtra till the next date of hearing on November 28.<\/p>\n This was in connection with the hearing on a plea challenging the promulgation of an ordinance by the Maharashtra government which provided a blanket 27 percent reservation in the local bodies to those belonging to the OBCs.<\/p>\n A bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said the status quo be maintained till further hearing on November 28.
