Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri was shot five times while protesting against Bhagwans’ Murtis being found in the garbage in Amritsar. The police report that the incident occurred when Suri and other party officials were protesting outside the Gopal Mandir on Majitha Road, one of the city’s main thoroughfares.\u00a0 This is when someone from the crowd came and shot Suri.\u00a0 Shockingly, the police were present at that time<\/p>\n
The police said that after Suri was shot more than five times, he collapsed and lost consciousness. He was transported to the hospital, where he later died.<\/p>\n
