{"id":2589,"date":"2021-02-16T16:50:48","date_gmt":"2021-02-16T16:50:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hamslivenews.com\/?p=2589"},"modified":"2021-02-16T16:50:48","modified_gmt":"2021-02-16T16:50:48","slug":"sopore-kashmir-in-a-tragic-incident-an-18-year-old-died-by-suicide-hanging-himself-in-his-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hamslive.com\/news\/2021\/02\/sopore-kashmir-in-a-tragic-incident-an-18-year-old-died-by-suicide-hanging-himself-in-his-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Sopore, Kashmir, in a tragic incident, an 18-year-old died by suicide, hanging himself in his home"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Abid Aziz Dar was 18 years, son of Abdul Aziz of Watlab, Sopore, and took his life in his home on Tuesday afternoon, February 16, 2021.<\/h3>\n<p>The tragedy occurred in Sopore, \u00a0Kashmir, \u00a0Watlab area of Sopore in North Kashmir&#8217;s Baramulla where his family members found him in his room hanging.\u00a0 They rushed him to the Community Health Center, SDH Sopore where the doctor proclaimed him dead on arrival.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, the police have registered a case for the incident, postpartum is being done and further investigations are underway.<\/p>\n<p>In recent times, suicide cases are rising among the young.\u00a0 Kashmir has witnessed 12 suicides in a span of 28 days, as reported by Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS), Dr. Majid Shafi, a government psychiatrist, said that last year he saw a hundred patients a week.
