The last rites of the 19-year-old woman receptionist who was allegedly killed by the owner of a resort in Uttarakhand were performed by her family members in NIT Ghat in Srinagar on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Huge furious protests erupted outside a mortuary in Uttarakhand\u2019s Srinagar city on Sunday where the body of the 19-year-old receptionist was kept as the family of the teen arrived to take her body for the last rites. Her father earlier said he was not satisfied with the provisional post-mortem report of his daughter, and added that her last rites will not be performed until they get the final post-mortem report.<\/p>\n
The family members of the 19-year-old receptionist, who was murdered earlier this month in Uttarakhand, have questioned the government\u2019s action in the case and refused to cremate her body. The woman\u2019s relatives blocked a highway in protest and are demanding the autopsy report be made public. The family questioned the government\u2019s move to demolish the resort and alleged that it was done to destroy the evidence in the case.<\/p>\n
