United States will rejoin the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. President Joe Biden signed the executive order.<\/h2>\n

Washington:<\/strong> US President Joe Biden on Wednesday signed the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the US Executive Orders on the World Health Organization.<\/p>\n

Mr. Biden said on Wednesday, ‘according to the commitments I have made, we are going to join the Paris Agreement on Climate Change today.’<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that former US President Donald Trump separated the United States from the Paris Climate Change Agreement and World Health Organization (WHO). Mr. Biden has signed an executive order to suspend the construction of the wall on the US-Mexico border.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump removed a large portion of federal efforts to slash emissions within the United States. Trump stood by other right-wing leaders e.g. Brazil\u2019s Jair Bolsonaro, who similarly dismantled environmental protections, even as their countries burned like never before\u00a0because of climate change<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, the US needs to regain the world\u2019s trust and show that it means business when it comes to taking on climate change. The US turned its back on efforts to tackle the climate crisis together as a planet whereas Donald Trump made the decision to withdraw<\/a>\u00a0from the Paris agreement.<\/p>\n
