Washington:<\/strong> Newly elected US President Joe Biden has said that his office will serve in a scientific manner. Mr. Biden said on Saturday, ‘My tenure will work in a scientific way. I hope there will be scientific progress in renewable energy and cancer research institutes.’<\/p>\n He also expressed concern about the coronavirus (covid-19) epidemic. Earlier on Friday, Biden named geneticist Eric Lander<\/a> as White House director of science and technology policy. He also praised Mr. Lander for his scientific work.<\/p>\n Biden has also spoken of an ‘American Rescue Plan’ in which $ 20 billion will be spent on the National Vaccination Program and $ 50 billion on Coronavirus Testing.<\/p>\n Biden stated, ‘It is not difficult to understand that we are facing an economic crisis that occurs once in many generations, in the midst of a health crisis that occurs once in many generations.
