NCP general secretary KK Sharma<\/em><\/p>\n New Delhi:<\/strong> The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)<\/a>, while paying tribute to the farmers who were martyred in the farmers’ protest, demanded Rs 50 lakh from the government along with the government jobs to the families of the martyrs.<\/p>\n Party General Secretary KK Sharma said Wednesday in a press conference here that he demands the immediate repeal of the three farm laws, supporting the farmers’ movement and to ensure that farmers buy their product at a reasonable price. The minimum support price (MSP) should be given legal status.<\/p>\n He said that “our party’s national president Sharad Pawar has always been with the farmers and has been in support of the farmers ‘welfare and the farmers’ movement.<\/p>\n He said that when Mr. Pawar was the Minister of Agriculture at the Center, he had many welfare schemes for the welfare of the farmers. He had implemented and waived farmers’ debt of one lakh crore rupees at the national level.<\/p>\n He said that thousands of farmers have kept their movement organized, peaceful, and non-violent, for which they are admirable. Praising the farmers, he said that the farmers are continuing their agitation even in this severe winter season.<\/p>\n He said that this farmers’ movement is purely for the farmers and no political aspect should be explored in it. He said that the allegations made by the government in this regard are baseless.
