Beijing:<\/strong> Several former law experts and opposition leaders were arrested in Hong Kong on Wednesday morning on suspicion of violation of the National Security Act in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n This is the biggest police action ever taken by the Chinese<\/a> government since the National Security Law was enacted last year.<\/p>\n According to a CNN report, those arrested participated in local elections last July and performed for pro-democracy candidates before the provincial elections in September.<\/p>\n Those arrested also include former Democratic Party law experts James Two, Andrew Wan, and Lam Cheuk-ting<\/a>, who were members of the Legislative Council until the end of last year.<\/p>\n [Hams live]<\/p>\n
