Addis Ababa:<\/strong> Unidentified gunmen in the western province of Gojam<\/a> in the eastern African country of Ethiopia. More than 90 people died in the attack.<\/p>\n According to media reports, the assailants attacked Wednesday while people were sleeping in their homes. The National Addis Standard News magazine quoted a witness as saying “People were murdered and their homes and looted.”<\/p>\n Another witness said that residents of the area had reported the attack to the police, but the attackers had fled when police reached the spot.<\/p>\n Significantly, there are many tribal groups<\/a> in the western part of Ethiopia.
