Tel Aviv:<\/strong> Israeli Knesset Speaker Yerevan Levin has said that the country’s parliamentary election will be held on March 23 next year.<\/p>\n After the meeting, Mr. Levine stated on the Knesset TV channel that Knesset is currently being dissolved. The 24th Knesset election will be held on March 23, 2021.<\/p>\n The government-run Kan Radio reported that the 23rd convocation of the Knesset (the Israeli parliament ) was dissolved at 02:00 Yerevan time on Wednesday. It was automatically dissolved after the deadline for approving the country\u2019s annual budget expired.<\/p>\n Wrapping up the last plenary session of the parliament Speaker Yariv Levin said, “We are going to the polls again. A difficult period is ahead. The doors of the 23rd convocation of the Knesset are now closed.”<\/p>\n The session was broadcast live by the state-run parliamentary TV channel. Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> will retain his post as the country\u2019s prime minister until a new cabinet, formed after the early elections, takes office.<\/p>\n It will be Israel\u2019s fourth elections in less than two years.
