New Delhi:<\/strong> The All India Merchants Confederation (AIMC) organization has claimed that in some states sitting on the border of Delhi, there has been a huge loss of 14 thousand crore rupees in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh due to farmers’ protests.<\/p>\n The Confederation issued a review on Tuesday, stating that 20 percent of trucks from other states are not coming to Delhi due to farmers’ protests. Goods shipped from Delhi to other states have also been badly affected. However, there is no dearth of other goods including essential commodities in Delhi.<\/p>\n The Federation said in a statement that the actual supply in Delhi comes from the surrounding states. Moreover, goods from other states also come to Delhi. There has been a loss of about 14 thousand crore rupees due to the agitation of the farmers. The Confederation has demanded the government to end the protests at the earliest so that normalcy can be restored.<\/p>\n According to statistics, about 50 thousand trucks of Delhi bring goods from different states of the country daily and about 30 thousand trucks go out of Delhi to other states daily.<\/p>\n The movement of goods is usually through Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Mathura, Agra Expressway, Delhi-Ghaziabad, Delhi-Chandigarh route etc. Traffic on them is chaotic due to protest sit-ins on the road.<\/p>\n [Hams Live]<\/p>\n
