Slamming the ruling party, Rahul Gandhi said BJP tried to save its rape-accused Unnao MLA, and that the Gujarat government released rapists.<\/p>\n<p>He said &#8220;Unnao &#8211; tried to save BJP MLA, Kathua- Rally in support of rapists, Hathras &#8211; Government in favour of rapists, and in Gujarat, the rapists&#8217; were released and honoured with garlands and sweets.<\/p>\n<p>Supporting criminals show the mentality of the BJP towards women. and asked the BJP, &#8220;Are you not ashamed of such politics, Prime Minister?&#8221; Rahul Gandhi said.<\/p>\n<p>Congress has been cornering the BJP over releasing 11 convicts in the Bilkis Bano case. Eleven men sentenced to life imprisonment in the Bilkis Bano gangrape case of 2002 were released from the Godhra sub-jail on Monday after a panel set up by the Gujarat government approved their application for remission of the sentence.<\/p>\n<p>The news has shocked the nation.\u00a0 In a horrific video, BJP MLA CK Raulji says the rapists and murderers were Brahmins and should be released.\u00a0 He said, \u201cThey are Brahmins, Men of Good Sanskaar. Their conduct in jail was good&#8221;.\u00a0 The BJP MLA CK Raulji who was on the panel that recommended release of 11 convicts who gang-raped Bilkis Bano and killed her 3-year-daughter along with seven of her family members that fateful night.\u00a0 Does this mean a Brahmin can commit any crime in India?\u00a0 This is sending shockwaves across the nation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThey are Brahmins,Men of Good Sanskaar.
