New Delhi: The transporters’ body All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) has Extended all their support<\/a> to the farmers’ agitation and warned of suspending its operations across the northern region in case the government does not address farmers’ demands.<\/p>\n ‘AIMTC has extended its support to the farmer agitation from day one. We are again convening our core committee meeting and will decide on stopping our operations strategically starting from Delhi, then North India and if the Govt does not address the issue of the farmers then we may decide to go for shutting down of transport operations nationwide in their support,’ said AIMTC in an official statement released here.<\/p>\n AIMTC president Kultaran Singh Atwal in the statement has said that the government must treat the farmers with dignity and allay their apprehensions on the farm Acts.<\/p>\n He took on Twitter and wrote<\/a>, “Respected <\/span>@narendramodi<\/a><\/span>, <\/span>@AmitShah<\/a><\/span>, <\/span>@nstomar <\/a><\/span>More than 200 million strong Transport Fraternity stands with their Farmer brethren in their struggle.
