{"id":13678,"date":"2022-06-02T10:49:13","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T10:49:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hamslivenews.com\/?p=13678"},"modified":"2022-06-02T10:49:13","modified_gmt":"2022-06-02T10:49:13","slug":"popular-songs-in-india-now-india-is-for-hindus-muslims-go-to-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hamslive.com\/news\/2022\/06\/popular-songs-in-india-now-india-is-for-hindus-muslims-go-to-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"Popular songs in India now, \u201cIndia is for Hindus, Muslims go to Pakistan.\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Hindutva pop now has singers composing songs played during hate campaigns singing &#8220;India is for Hindus, Muslims go to Pakistan.\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Hindutva pop is set up by a network of Hindutva right-wing nationals that are stirring up hate towards minorities.\u00a0\u00a0The turning point came in 2014 when the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power and the new government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw an unprecedented polarisation of Indian society, with hate attacks on India\u2019s minorities, mainly Muslims, and Christians too were attacked during their prayer meetings and church gatherings on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>A video that is making rounds on social media is of singer Prem Krishnavanshi from Uttar Pradesh.\u00a0 He sings,\u00a0\u201cInsaan nahi ho saalo, ho tum kasaayi; Bahut ho chuka Hindu-Muslim bhai bhai\u201d \u2013 You are not human, you are butchers; it\u2019s enough of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood.<\/p>\n<p>These are the lyrics of a \u2018bhajan\u2019 (devotional song) that singer Prem Krishnavanshi posted on YouTube three years ago and has been viewed thousands of times since.<\/p>\n<p>Ashok Swain said, &#8220;<em>Islamophobic songs paving the way for a Muslim genocide in India!&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Islamophobic songs paving the way for a Muslim genocide in India! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QbeyKBZNs0\">pic.twitter.com\/QbeyKBZNs0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ashok Swain (@ashoswai) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ashoswai\/status\/1532242918538457088?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 2, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>His Hindutva pop is triggered by contemporary hate politics, Krishnavanshi\u2019s song is a part of the rising hate culture in India where anti-Muslim songs are played in rallies by Hindu supremacist groups, mainly in what is called the country\u2019s \u201cHindi belt\u201d northern states.<\/p>\n<p>Dozens of such music videos can be discovered on YouTube and other social media platforms, with the supporters of the Hindu far-right loving and sharing them for their messages of hate, abuse, and even threats of genocide targeted at the Muslim minority.<\/p>\n<p>These are some of the videos shared by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZAB_kwEXh5A\">Quint<\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  id=\"_ytid_14617\"  width=\"696\" height=\"391\"  data-origwidth=\"696\" data-origheight=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZAB_kwEXh5A?enablejsapi=1&#038;autoplay=0&#038;cc_load_policy=0&#038;cc_lang_pref=&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;loop=0&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;playsinline=0&#038;autohide=2&#038;theme=dark&#038;color=red&#038;controls=1&#038;disablekb=0&#038;\" class=\"__youtube_prefs__  epyt-is-override  no-lazyload\" title=\"YouTube player\"  allow=\"fullscreen; accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the past few months, India witnessed religious violence in several states during Hindu festivals when right-wing groups moved in mobs during their own festivals marching through mainly Muslim neighborhoods in an intimidating manner, carrying swords, knives, and even shotguns, playing loud music laced with Islamophobic lyrics outside mosques while also chanting anti-Muslim slogans.<\/p>\n<p>Krishnavanshi sings in Hindi and Bhojpuri languages. His fan base is mainly in Uttar Pradesh, India\u2019s most populous state with nearly 205 million residents, governed by the BJP\u2019s saffron-robed Hindu monk, Yogi Adityanath, who is known for his anti-Muslim rhetoric and policies.<\/p>\n<p>In many of his songs, Krishnavanshi suggests Muslims are \u201canti-nationals who should go to Pakistan\u201d. One of his songs says: \u201cMuslims will eventually force Hindus to pray namaz if they don\u2019t wake up soon\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Is it any small wonder that Hindutva mobs are moving on streets with weapons!\u00a0 The fact is every single crime committed by a Muslim is highlighted to the Hindus while Hindus&#8217; crimes are not highlighted by the right-wing groups, and this movement is creating a frenzied fear of Muslims among Hindus.<\/p>\n<p>Krishnavanshi surprisingly claims his songs are not hate songs!\u00a0 Then what are hate songs, can the Hindutva pop singers define them? On the other side, many are realizing that hate movements are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hamslive.com\/news\/2022\/05\/28\/while-politicians-divide-india-listen-to-this-wonderful-kashmiri-pandit\/\">politically motivated.<\/a><\/p>\n<div
