Saudi citizens have been banned from traveling to 16 countries, including India citing a surge in COVID-19<\/a> cases there in recent weeks.\u00a0 Apart from India, the countries where Saudi citizens have been prohibited from travelling include Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus, and Venezuela.<\/p>\n The travel ban was notified by the Saudi government\u2019s Directorate General of Passports on Saturday.<\/p>\n As of now, the ban applies to Saudi citizens who wish to travel to the abovementioned countries.
