New Delhi:<\/strong> The Kejriwal government is preparing to take strict steps to tackle the rising outbreak of Coronavirus in the national capital. Some areas are being considered for imposing re-lockdown and limiting the number of participants in wedding ceremonies to 50<\/a>.<\/p>\n Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal indicated this on Tuesday talking to the mediapersons that the state government has sent a proposal to the central government seeking permission for the re-lockdown on a limited scale.<\/p>\n If the proposal is approved, lockdown may be reimposed in areas with more cases of infection. The Chief Minister said that in some markets, there has been a lot of carelessness observed during the Diwali festival.<\/p>\n He further said that the people coming to the market neither wore masks nor did they follow physical distance. He stated that the markets should be brought under lockdown for a limited time if people do not follow the principles of mask and physical distance and that the area becomes a hot spot for the Coronavirus. This type of proposal is being sent to the center.<\/p>\n About 200 guests were allowed to attend the wedding, but, in view of the growing Coronavirus cases, a proposal has been sent to the lieutenant governor to limit the number to as low as 50.<\/p>\n Significantly, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain yesterday said that there is no intention of putting a lockdown again. Mr. Arvind Kejriwal said that the number of guests at weddings will increase from 50 to 200 with the normalization of coronavirus.<\/p>\n He said the number of beds in government and private hospitals is adequate, but there is a shortage of beds with ICUs for which the central government has provided assistance. He said all governments “are working together to prevent the risk of Covid-19, but people need to be careful.<\/p>\n ‘A large number of people are walking around without masks. I appeal to them to please wear masks and follow the physical distance,’ he added. In a high-level meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday, it was decided to provide 750 ICU beds to the Delhi government.<\/p>\n Within Delhi, the Coronavirus is becoming more dangerous in the month of November.
