\u201cFive militants of Pakistan-sponsored militant outfits, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) were killed in dual encounters in the last 12 hours,\u201d Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said.<\/p>\n
The police identified one of the slain militants as JeM \u2018commander\u2019 Zahid Wani and a Pakistani militant, Kafeel alias Chotu.\u00a0 The five militants were killed in two separate gunfights in Kashmir on Sunday, the Jammu and Kashmir police said.<\/p>\n
